Rod and I had a date night Friday night and went out to City island. We had so much fun that we decided to go again the following night and take the boys! There's so much to do there on this little island, it's such a cute little place. We took a train ride around the island, played on the playground, in the sand boxes, ate supper, then took a boat ride. The Harrisburg Senators play there also, but we didn't take in any games...even though they were playing the Reading phillies both nights. It was fun, feeling like we "got away" even though it's only 40 minutes away! We hope to go back again.

This week, we have bible school, which starts in a few hours (i need to prepare!). Other then that, not much on the calendar! i'm hoping to have more energy this week then last week, as i was fighting a cold. What beautiful SPRING-like weather :0) enjoy.

I never heard of City Island, looks like a fun place, you're making memories with your boys. Now they have another favorite place besides Jim Macks. Mom
That looks like a fun place! We have been enjoying the Spring like weather too. I am not looking forward to the HOT and HUMID weather later this week.
I never heard of City Island. I want to know more. DH and I are always open to a new place for a date night, and to take the grandkids.
